Swing Game

SWING GAME is a creative documentary about the mobile game industry. Mikko and Pasi, two Finnish filmmakers from a small town, start making a documentary about the digital game industry but end up starting a game company themselves and developing a hit game together with their soundman Samuli. The men have no experience in the industry, but they find a mentor in Peter Vesterbacka, one of the key people behind the successful Angry Birds game. The hit game project doesn’t have an easy start, but slowly the pieces come together and the guys get an idea, an investor, a staff and an office in a cozy house. To market their swing-jumping-themed game, the men build a giant swing and arrange the world’s first swing jumping world championship. They run the company with an all-in mentality, so on launch day the stakes are high.
