Bullshit

Her opponents call her “The Green Killer”. They gave her “The Bullshit Award” for sustaining poverty. TIME says she is a hero of our times, “The Queen of Anti-Globalization”, an icon for youngsters all over the world.

She is Vandana Shiva, Indian environmental activist and nuclear physicist.
She is a tough lady and she has to hold her head high.

In this documentary we follow Vandana Shiva during two years from her organic farm at the foot of the Himalayas to institutions of power all over the world. In this film Vandana Shiva does battle with her toughest opponents: Monsanto, Coca-Cola and the WTO.

We film Monsanto from the inside with the directors and we also meet Barun Mitra, liberal think thank, lobbyist and a fierce critic to Vandana Shiva.

It’s a film on globalization and patenting, on genetic engineering, bio-piracy, indigenous knowledge. In this film we also tackle the question of farmers’ suicide as a backlash of the globalization.
