The Smoking Room / Tupakkahuone

The documentary THE SMOKING ROOM is about Finland and Finnish people at the beginning of the 21st century, viewed through different smoking rooms throughout the country. The people sitting in the smoking rooms, their life situations and stories, reflect life as a citizen in present day Finland.
The film is a collage about the reality of five different smoking rooms, visiting a hospital, a factory, a train, a public transport company, and a home for war veterans. The film is a still of the present day.
