Pablo Lago Dantas is an experienced director of photography, a CamerImage best cinematography nominee whose films have made it to more than 100 official sections in prestigious international film festivals. In his visual language he is fascinated by the search for the subconscious, using his Galician connections to myth and rituals to add layers and depth to the mundane. 

O AUTO DAS ÁNIMAS is his first film as a director. An encounter with his place of origin and family, it is a journey through memory, tradition, the deconstruction of home, death and the passage of time.
