Sweep It Up, Again / Kehraus, wieder

In March 1990, Gerd Kroske started filming road sweepers in Leipzig. In the following years, he returned to his protagonists and continued shooting. SWEEP IT UP, AGAIN is the third film in this documentary trilogy, shot in 2006. Some of his protagonists have died in the meanwhile, some of them are still struggling along. A long time milieu study about the daily life of people between homes and social secure office, precise, sober, without commentary – but full of sympathy with the protagonists.
